Want to know what it actually takes to transform an acoustic demo into a fully produced, release-ready song? This workshop is for you!
In this free 90-minute live session, Benny will take you on a walk-through of the full production process for the song, ‘If I Leave You Tomorrow’ – the latest single from ‘Names Of Birds’ (you can hear the full production and an acoustic version here)
By opening up the complete Logic session and seeing how this song was built layer by layer, decision by decision, you will get a chance to discuss and explore:
- How to work inside a DAW
- Pro Recording and Mic Techniques
- Collaborating with Session Players
- Different approaches to Mixing
- Experimenting with Sounds and Textures
- Effective use of Panning, EQ and Effects
This session will be highly interactive and a chance to hear a producer explain their thinking behind the many creative and technical decisions made throughout the production process.
Most importantly, this workshop will provide valuable insights and practical methods for producing your own music or collaborating with a producer.
There will also be a Q&A session at the end so come along, bring your questions and discover new ways of making music.
See you there!
