Keppie and Benny came to my attention last summer while I was youtube searching for song-writing tips. These two got me out of a writing rut and pushed everything I was stuck on forward. Let’s face it, there’s a lot of garbage out there on the internet; lots of so-called know-it-alls that have cheap, flashy slogans that don’t really go anywhere because their own music is nowhere to be found or it’s lackluster. Not so with K & P, whose music is easily found online and it’s fabulous. Better yet, their explanation of the craft is superb. Perfect mix of visuals, too. These guys are great and these tips are practical and useful. This is how music education online should be! I follow their work closely. If you’re a songwriter looking to boost your creativity or get organized, these are your peeps!

This is like one of those classes in high school or college that you actually look forward to going to because you like the teacher and they’re explaining things in a way you can follow and that make you think, “Hey, I can actually USE that!” In this course, Keppie and Benny teach specific things you can do on a daily basis to write better songs, songs that listeners will find more interesting, more impactful and more memorable.
